Help for MUBBS Tools: 1/13/92
IT MUST BE IN THE SAME FOLDER AS THE MUBBS APPLICATION TO WORK!
(so it can find all the proper MUBBS files).
This application allows you to set up your "bbsconfig" file for MUBBS.
It will Macbinify and Debinify and upload ONE file to the system.
Make sure you MacBinify MAC SPECIFIC files before uploading to the BBS!
Don't MacBinify GIF , TEXT or IBM type files !!
It will do more later, as time permits to program.
YOU SHOULD READ ABOUT THE "bbsconfig" FILE IN THE "MUBBS Help" section here.
The "stock" settings for MUBBS is as follows (this is
the order of values in "bbsconfig" when read with a text editor) :
; The "bbsconfig" file contians 8 items, any extras are ignored.
; All items MUST be terminated with a CR (return).
;
; Value Discription
;
; 0 < Debug mode, 0= Off, 1= Level 1, 2= Level 2, 99= Programmer
; 1 < Number of users, 1 is minimum (the Mac screen), 33 is max
; 50000 < Stack size for each user, not under 32000. 50000 is normal
; 180 < Seconds till a user timeout
; 180 < 1 minute intervals till a "reload" or "restart"
